As the State institute responsible for regulation of the foreign employment industry in Sri Lanka functioning under the purview of the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment, our focus has always remained on ensuring safe, orderly and regular migration as well as linking migration and development. However, with changing times, it is now more than ever important to redirect from standard practices and set new standards by thinking beyond boundaries. We are committed to doing so by not only providing mechanisms but creating synergies that bring together all stakeholders, engaging in dialogues multilaterally or bilaterally and working on apace for collaborative projects with public and private sector institutes. Together with all our stakeholders we expect to bring positive change to the foreign employment industry that can elevate the industry to new heights and make foreign employment journey a gainful experience to our migrant workers.
