One more phase of the Glocal Fair program, which was implemented based on the concept of the Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment, Hon. Manusha Nanayakkara, was held for the past two days, focusing on the Northern Province, outside Mutraveli, Jaffna. Here, a large number of people from the Northern Province who were looking for foreign jobs received the services of the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau.
In addition to this, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment had organized many programs such as awarding scholarships to the daughters of emigrant parents in the Northern Province who went abroad for work, appreciating the brave Sri Lankans of the Northern Province who strengthened the country through foreign exchange, awarding school equipment to the daughters of emigrant parents in the Northern Province who went abroad for work.
In conjunction with the Glocal Fair 2023 Jaffna program, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment had also organized art competitions and a competition called Talent Stage to present the dancing, singing and dancing skills of the girls in order to evaluate the aesthetic skills of the girls in the Northern Province. A prize was given to each child who participated in these competitions and special prizes were also given to the winning children.
