In a dynamic and ever-changing world, all progressive organisations have slowly but surely learnt to adapt themselves to global changes and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) is no different.
With the entire world getting more and more engulfed in the ‘Global Village concept, the need for a state-of-the-art website has become an absolute necessity for any organisation today. This new website will not only be the face of the SLBFE in cyberspace but will also provide a gamut of vital information on the many services offered by the Bureau.
During the last few years, there has been a significant increase in the interest and enthusiasm of Sri Lankans to find employment overseas. Overseas employers too have shown a keen interest in acquiring skilled manpower from Sri Lanka. This has made the role of the SLBFE very crucial. We undertake the full responsibility of maintaining records on how credible the licensees are while also attending to the welfare aspects of migrant workers and their families.
With the eradication of the terrorism that plagued our beautiful paradise island for nearly 3 decades, we Sri Lankans can look forward to the future with greater anticipation and a renewed sense of hope. A future where economic prosperity goes hand in hand with sustainable development and good corporate governance.
As the Chairman of the SLBFE I am proud to lead my team of dynamic and hardworking individuals in to a future such as this, and the launching of this new and improved website is just one of the many progressive changes we intend to make. Because Our Concern is Your Well Being Tomorrow !
